About B like Berlin

Meet the amazing - Alisa

Alissa is the CEO and founder of B for Berlin. The idea for B for Berlin came to her during the pandemic when she wanted to teach her then three-year-old child the alphabet. She found that most of the learning material was boring - A for apple, Z for zebra - and did not reflect the reality of her Berlin children's lives.

Then she had the idea: ABC flashcards that not only teach the alphabet, but also let you discover Berlin's exciting history and diverse culture! Play and learning materials for children and families like mine: diverse, cosmopolitan and politically engaged.

"I start every day with a lot of love, passion and a vision: To empower kids!" - Alissa

Alisa started with a small idea to achieve something big. For her company and her commitment, she was honored by the German government in 2021 as Germany's cultural and creative pilot.
